Today was Alex's birthday! We drove down to Cassis and had lunch at the beach and then hung out and sunned and swam. The Mediterranean was articly cold, but I had to get in. I love being in the sea!

We got back and the whole family had a huge BBQ. All twenty of us gathered around the big table outside, it has the most beautiful view. I made a little Happy Birthday banner for Alex (cut out of old magazines, pretty crafty huh!). Michelle (who is getting married on Saturday) blew up balloons. It was so fun!
