natural dyeing // part II

Lili and I have been so excited to try out our new skills we learned last weekend at the Natural Dyeing Workshop!
Yesterday we spent the morning making our dyes and met in the back garden and got to work!

Clockwise from top left: Hibiscus dye, strained blackberries, strained hibiscus flowers, blackberry dye, beet dye.

Lili's little pup V.V. kept us company while we were working. It got kind of chilly in the afternoon so she snuggled up with her blanket.

Also, check out Lili's lovely photos

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
And if you are in LA, I hope you are enjoying this lovely rain!

  1. love your post! i had so much fun. and i love that v.v. got a lil shout-out!

p.s. can't wait to do more more!

  2. This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. how to wash vegetables and fruit naturally
